This is what we build. A complete journey from a dedicated karateka to an Asian Championship medalist. Here, I am with Rusha Tambat, a proud athlete from our Karate India Organisation (KIO), celebrating her silver medal. We bring the world's best to train our athletes. This is a glimpse of our intensive Kumite training camp in Bhubaneswar, where two-time World Champion Mr. Amir Mehdi Zadeh from Iran personally coaches our top karate players. This is elite sports mentorship, focused on advanced strategy and conditioning.
This is the result of our collective hard work and dedication. Team India, under the KIO banner, stands proud after being declared the overall champion at the 11th Commonwealth Karate Championship in Durban, South Africa. We secured the top position with 21 Gold, 8 Silver, and 21 Bronze medals.
To be the best, you must train with the best. Here is our 12-member Indian Karate team in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, for a joint training camp with their national team. We arranged this fully sponsored, high-exposure training to prepare them for the Asian Senior Championship.
We believe talent should never be held back by financial constraints. Here, the Hon’ble Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Smt. Rekha Arya, joins us in presenting cash awards of ₹2 Lakh each to our Asian Senior Karate Championship medalists during a KIO National event. This is our commitment in action.
Our program is built on a foundation of global recognition and leadership. Here I am with the visionary leader of World Karate, WKF President Mr. Antonio Espinos, in China. This network ensures our athletes have a legitimate and respected pathway to the world stage.
The journey of a champion is filled with emotion and pride. This was the moment we welcomed our victorious Indian Karate team at the IGI Airport in New Delhi after their historic performance at the Asian Senior Karate Championship in Tashkent, where they secured two bronze medals and a gold in para-karate.
An athlete's career is short, but education lasts a lifetime. I am signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Amity University to provide 25% to 100% scholarships for our meritorious karate players. We are committed to securing our athletes' future both on and off the tatami.
