Official Leadership and Global Karate Diplomacy

About Leadership & Global Diplomacy
When you choose a training path, you need to know if it leads anywhere. My work with the World Karate Federation (WKF) and Asian Karate Federation (AKF) is specifically designed to eliminate the uncertainty in Indian karate. By aligning our national circuit with these global bodies and maintaining direct channels with government policymakers, I ensure that every medal our athletes win is recognized, and every tournament certificate carries real weight on the international circuit.
Building a Legitimate Future
In the world of karate, legitimacy is everything. Too many athletes spend years training, only to find their certifications are not recognized by the global governing bodies or the government. As the President of the Karate India Organisation (KIO), I have dedicated my career to fixing this. KIO is the only WKF-affiliated national federation in India, which means we are the sole body authorized to send athletes to official Asian and World Championships.
Why Global Diplomacy Matters
My presence at Executive Council meetings for the Asian Karate Federation and my direct engagement with Union Ministers are not just formalities. These interactions are strategic. When I sit down with policy makers, I am advocating for:
- Recognition: Ensuring government-backed sports scholarships and benefits apply to karate practitioners.
- Exposure: Securing slots for our team in international training camps, including those in countries like Uzbekistan and Nepal.
- Support: Facilitating partnerships, such as our MoU with Amity University, to provide financial and academic scholarships for our athletes.
Your Path to the Podium
If your goal is to represent India at the highest level, you must train within a system that the world respects. This cluster showcases my work in securing that system. From VIP engagements with global leaders to direct meetings at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, every move we make is to ensure the Indian flag is raised on the international podium. This is about more than just fighting; it is about building a structured, merit-based career for every karateka who is ready to put in the work.
