About Community, Events & Recognition
When you see our students at these events, you are not just looking at medals. You are seeing the result of the same syllabus we bring directly from our masters in Okinawa. Whether it is a national championship or a local police training seminar, the focus remains on authentic technique, discipline, and the hard work that defines the OSK Federation.
Building a Community, Not Just a School
In 1992, I started with 14 students in Bannerghatta. Today, we are proud to be India's largest karate federation. These images are proof of a philosophy. We do not believe in shortcuts. Every tournament we organize and every seminar we conduct is held to one standard: the Shorin-ryu Shorinkan syllabus I bring back from my annual training in Japan.
What Happens at Our Events
When we organize a Kumite seminar or participate in a National Karate Championship, we bring our senior instructors, including 3rd Dan Black Belts, to lead the way. You will see us working with police forces in KGF or organizing specialized Kumite training camps in Davanagere. These are not just photo opportunities; they are rigorous training grounds where students learn to apply traditional techniques in real-life scenarios.
The Role of Our Events

- Seminars: From Bangalore to West Bengal, we conduct workshops that break down complex Kobudo and Karate techniques for all skill levels.
