Every student here starts on a mannequin, but they finish by styling a live model for a full professional portfolio shoot. On exam day, I guide them to treat this like a real client job, ensuring they master not just the makeup and hairstyling, but the timing, the jewellery setting, and the client interaction that a bride expects on her wedding day.
When you train at my academy, I want you to feel ready for the real world from day one. We do not just teach theory; we focus on the practical realities of working with brides.
We start with the basics of skin prep and product knowledge, but quickly move to hands-on practice on silicone pads and mannequins. You will learn the specific techniques needed for traditional looks, whether it is a Gujarati bridal glam, a classic Maharashtrian Nauvari look, or the intricate South Indian Jada and floral braiding.
The final part of your course is what you see here: the portfolio shoot. This is your exam day. You come in, prepare your model, style the hair, set the jewellery, and do the full bridal makeup. I stand by you, providing feedback so that when you leave with these photos, they represent the absolute best work you are capable of.
Beyond just the brushwork, I make sure you understand the business side. We cover how to consult with clients, how to build a vanity kit within a budget, and where to source authentic products in the wholesale markets. You are not just learning a skill; you are building your career with the support of a family that wants to see you shine.
