I offer online and in-person classes in Bengaluru for all levels, from absolute beginners to experienced dancers. We focus on building a strong foundation in technique, rhythm, and expression, exploring Kathak not just as a dance, but as a form of storytelling and moving meditation.

The Story Behind the Dance: Harikatha & Shastra
Kathak is storytelling, and my approach is deeply rooted in the wisdom of ancient texts (Shastras). In these short 'Harikatha' videos, I break down philosophical concepts and mythological tales from Sanatana Dharma, connecting them to our dance practice and daily life.
Guru Parampara: My Lineage
I am blessed to be a disciple of the legendary Pt. Rajendra Gangani and to carry forward a family legacy of art. This tradition and the blessings of my gurus are the foundation of my practice and teaching.
The Soul of Rhythm: Tabla & Pāḍhant
Rhythm (Taal) is the heartbeat of Kathak. Here, I explore the intricate mathematics and vocal percussion (Pāḍhant) of the art form, from composing new pieces to practicing on the tabla.
