Asymmetrical Micromosaic Earrings: A Tale of Two Halves
I believe jewellery should tell a story. My asymmetrical earrings are designed as a dialogue between two distinct pieces, celebrating the beauty found in nature's perfect imperfections.
Inspired by the fluttering wings of a hummingbird, this pair of earrings captures a story in two parts. One shows the bird poised to take nectar from the lilies depicted on the other, all handcrafted in micromosaic with non-heated Mozambique rubies.
Where art meets elegance. This pair brings together Zambian emeralds, black enamel, and vibrant micromosaic. One earring shows apple blossoms, the other shows berries, celebrating nature's cycle.
The stories of the Lilium continue with this Art Deco inspired pair. One earring shows the bud and bird, the other the full bloom, handcrafted in 18k gold with Zambian emeralds and black enamel.
A playful, asymmetrical pair featuring a bird on one side and a purple aster flower on the other. The vibrant colours are created with tiny, hand-set mosaic pieces and framed with rubies and diamonds.
My Sakura-inspired micromosaic earrings, celebrating July as the month of rubies. One earring features a bluebird among the blossoms, while the other focuses on the delicate pink flowers.
The "Promise of Eden" earrings, handcrafted in 18k yellow gold. This pair features 2.23 carats of Mozambican rubies from Gemfields, complementing the micromosaic bird and flower motifs.

About Asymmetrical Earrings: A Tale of Two Halves
Each pair is a conversation between two distinct subjects, like a bird finding its flower. When we work together, we will decide which two scenes from your personal narrative will appear on each ear, ensuring the two halves complement each other perfectly.
My micromosaic work is a slow, meditative process. I use the Italian Tesserae technique, placing tiny, hand-cut glass pieces one by one to build a detailed image. Because each piece is created by hand in my Mumbai studio, no two earrings are ever identical.
The Asymmetrical Philosophy
I find perfection a little boring. My asymmetrical collections, like the 'Promise of Eden' or my Sakura-inspired sets, feature one earring with a main subject—often a bird or a deity—and another with the complementary floral element. They are designed to be worn together to complete a story, or even individually if you prefer a simpler statement.
Quality and Craftsmanship
Every pair is built on a solid foundation of 18k gold, either yellow or rose, finished with filigree or Chantilly lace textures. I use ethically sourced gemstones from Gemfields, such as Mozambican rubies or Zambian emeralds, to frame the mosaic panels.
A Personal Experience
Because I work one-on-one, I take the time to understand what matters to you. Whether you want to incorporate a specific flower, a memory of a forest, or a spiritual element, we start with a conversation. Since I operate by appointment only, we can ensure your piece receives the time and detail it deserves. You will receive an authenticity card for the micromosaic art and a purity certificate for the gold and diamonds with every purchase.
