About In Full Bloom: The Botanical Collection
Notice how the micromosaic panels in these floral pieces aren't just vibrant; they are built from hundreds of tiny glass tesserae, set one by one into 18k gold. Because I build every piece in my Mumbai studio by hand, I can adjust the gold texture or the emerald accents to better suit how you plan to wear them, whether it is for a quiet evening or a grand celebration.
Creating floral jewellery using the Italian micromosaic technique is a slow, meditative process. It is about patience. I start with 18k gold, shaping the frame before I begin setting the tiny glass tesserae to form nature-inspired scenes like peonies, roses, or apple blossoms. You will see deep teal or black backgrounds in many pieces—these are deliberate choices to make the delicate floral colours pop.
When you look at the botanical rings or pendants here, you are seeing substantial, solid jewellery. A typical piece weighs between 10g and 20g, giving it a heavy, luxurious feel on the skin. I prioritize sourcing, which is why my coloured stones, particularly the Zambian emeralds, come through partners like Gemfields.
If you are considering a custom piece from this collection, here is what is possible. We can adjust the gold tone between yellow or rose, and because I work one-on-one from my Mumbai studio, we can discuss the narrative behind the flowers you choose. Whether it is a pair of asymmetrical earrings or a statement pendant, these designs are meant to be worn, cherished, and eventually passed down. Each comes with an authenticity card for the mosaic art and a purity certificate for the gold and diamonds.
