Since 2011, we've been changing the narrative for young cricketers who dream big. The old saying, "Padhoge likhoge hoge nawab, kheloge kudoge hoge kharab" doesn't fly here. At Sehwag Cricket Academy, we believe playing hard makes winners, not losers.
How We Train
Our cricket academy program is all about hands-on learning. I make sure every trainee gets solid practice with batting, bowling, and fielding - not just theory. Batting drills cover basics like straight drives and square cuts. Bowling sessions are detailed - right from perfecting your run-up to mixing up techniques. For fielding, it’s all about agility, diving stops, and catching under pressure.
Learn From the Best
You get real mentorship. Viru Paaji himself (yeah, Virender Sehwag) runs masterclass sessions, shares practical tips, and mentors you. We also bring in pro coaches like Mithun Manhas for fresh perspectives. It’s not just about watching - you actually train with the legends.
Building the Athlete
We don't ignore the mental side. You’ll get sports nutrition advice, and we keep the vibe positive - "Yeh jag jis-jis pe hansa hai, itihas usi ne racha hai." If people doubt you, let your game do the talking.
Real Match Experience
Practicing is cool, but match exposure is essential. We send our teams to competitive cricket tournaments for juniors and even host international youth squads. Our trainees have played in big events like the Vinoo Mankad Trophy and Delhi Premier League.

My Story
We started Sehwag Cricket Academy in 2011, inspired by Virender Sehwag’s own way of playing and thinking about cricket. For us, it’s not just about teaching batting or bowling. It’s about building character and real sportsmanship. Viru drops in for his masterclass, giving tips you won’t get anywhere else. We’ve got centers across Delhi and Jammu, and we’re proud every time our trainees make it to state teams or hit their first century. This is why we do it.
