Social Etiquette and Manners Classes for Kids
We believe good manners are a form of kala, or art, that helps children navigate the world with confidence and kindness. Join our interactive sessions in Ramesh Nagar where character building meets practical social skills.
An important part of personality development is understanding moral values. In this activity, a student discusses the difference between positive and negative words, a simple exercise that builds character and empathy.
This collage captures moments from our social etiquette sessions. We cover everything from greeting elders respectfully to classroom manners, because I believe good manners are a reflection of inner confidence and respect.
Listen as students share what they have learned about social etiquette, such as saying "excuse me" and not making fun of others. These are not just rules; they are life-long lessons in being a considerate person.
This graphic announces one of our special sessions focused on social etiquettes. I make these lessons a core part of the curriculum to ensure children grow into well-rounded and respectful individuals.
About Learning Manners and Values
We teach social etiquette through active participation, not boring lectures. In our Ramesh Nagar studio, we use microphone drills and peer-to-peer roleplay to help children practice greeting others, managing stage jitters, and using respectful language naturally. It transforms the concept of good manners into a lived experience that carries over into their daily lives outside our center.
At Satyug Darshan Sangeet Kala Kendra, we treat etiquette as a vital life skill rather than a list of rules. Our curriculum is designed to help children feel comfortable in social situations, whether they are interacting with peers or elders.
Our Approach
We move away from the textbook method. Instead, our small group sessions focus on:
- Real-world Roleplay: We simulate situations like dining, classroom entry, and meeting new people so children know exactly what to say and how to act.
- Confidence Through Expression: By using public speaking drills, we help kids overcome the hesitation that often makes them mumble or freeze. When they learn to project their voice, their confidence grows.
- Moral Values Integration: We hold open discussions on honesty, empathy, and why being considerate is important. This helps children understand that saying 'excuse me' or 'please' is about respecting others.
Why Practice With Us?
Our Ramesh Nagar studio provides a safe, encouraging space where children are free to make mistakes and learn from them. We emphasize that manners are a reflection of inner respect. By blending these values with our broader focus on sangeet and kala, we help raise well-rounded individuals who are as polite as they are creative. If you are looking for a place where your child learns to speak up while learning to be kind, we would love to have you join our family.
