This is the first look into my world of Kathak, a collection of moments that capture the energy, tradition, and soul of my dance. From expressive solo pieces to vibrant group performances, these visuals showcase the heart I bring to every stage.
Sāttvatī Troupe: Stage Performances
My troupe, Sāttvatī, brings together dedicated students for vibrant and coordinated group shows. These performances are perfect for cultural festivals, corporate events, and large stages, showcasing traditional choreographies with fresh energy.
Storytelling: Mythological & Spiritual Themes
My heart is in bringing mythological and spiritual stories to life through Kathak. We perform pieces based on the Ramayan or scenes from Mahashivaratri, connecting the audience to our rich cultural heritage through expressive abhinaya and choreography.
Duets and Collaborations
There is a unique energy in a duet, where two dancers create a dynamic dialogue on stage. I collaborate with fellow artists on conceptual and festival pieces, exploring themes of duality and shared artistic expression.
Solo Artistry
I offer intimate and expressive solo pieces that are ideal for focused settings. My repertoire includes both timeless traditional Kathak and my own choreographies that explore new themes and ideas.
Sufi Kathak: A Soulful Blend
For those seeking a meditative and spiritual experience, I offer Sufi Kathak. This is a soulful blend of Kathak's intricate movements and the evocative melodies of Sufi music, performed with a live ensemble.
International Stage & Workshops
I am blessed to share the art of Kathak on global platforms, performing and conducting workshops across the world. From Johannesburg to Beijing, I love connecting with new Rasikas and celebrating our shared cultural heritage.
Sāttvatī School of Dance: Our Journey
Sāttvatī is more than a school; it's a community built on the guru-shishya parampara. We offer online and offline classes for all levels in Bangalore and beyond, celebrating each student's journey from their first steps to the stage.
