About South Indian Bridal Elegance
A key part of my service is the structural support I build into every drape. I use hidden, rust-proof pinning techniques and adjustments for shapewear or Can-Can skirts to ensure that whether you are wearing a heavy 9-yard silk or a classic Kanjivaram, the pleats remain crisp and secure throughout long ceremonies like the Oonjal or main wedding rituals.
Beyond just the drape, I focus on the styling details that make a South Indian bride look authentic. Whether you are opting for a traditional Tamil Brahmin Madisar, a graceful Maharashtrian Nauvari, or a classic Kerala Settu saree, I understand the unique requirements of each regional style.
My service includes professional accessory fixing, such as securing heavy Vaddanams (waist belts), arranging traditional temple jewellery, and pinning veils or dupattas onto your hairdo so they don't pull or slip.
For brides with a tight schedule, I offer a pre-pleating and box-folding service at my Dombivli studio. This allows you to step into your saree and have it draped perfectly in under 3 minutes, which is a lifesaver for early morning muhurtham timings or multiple outfit changes.
I am based in Mumbai but travel frequently to venues, from local banquet halls to destination weddings across Kerala and beyond. My goal is to make the getting-ready process calm and organized, so you can focus on the joy of your big day rather than worrying about your outfit shifting.
