From intricate nine-yard drapes to modern, stress-free pre-pleating, I help brides feel confident and elegant on their big day.

This is the magic of my pre-pleating service. I prepare the saree beforehand so that on the wedding day, I can create this flawless, structured drape in just a few minutes, ensuring the bride looks perfect without any stress.

The final look for a beautiful bride, ready for her Oonjal ceremony. I focus on ensuring every detail, from the pleats of her Kanjivaram silk saree to the placement of her temple jewellery, creates a picture of timeless elegance.

See the transformation from a perfectly pre-pleated and boxed saree to the final, elegant drape on my client. This service ensures your saree looks crisp and beautiful throughout the entire event.

For a grand and voluminous silhouette, I specialize in the Can-Can saree drape. This style adds a fairytale-like flare to the saree, perfect for receptions or sangeet ceremonies, making you feel like royalty.

This is the traditional Iyengar Madisar, a nine-yard saree drape that is rich in cultural significance. I am an expert in creating this intricate style, ensuring it is draped authentically and comfortably for important ceremonies.

Here I am in my element, demonstrating the art of saree draping at my studio. I love sharing my 20 years of experience with others, whether I am styling a bride or teaching students in my draping classes.

The pure joy of a bride on her special day is what makes my work so rewarding. Seeing her laugh and feel completely comfortable and beautiful in her saree is the best part of my job.

I was a little hesitant, but here is my first time doing a voiceover. It was wonderful to share my passion for the art of saree draping, a craft I have loved and practiced for over two decades.

A behind-the-scenes look at draping a traditional Kerala Settu Saree. I carefully arrange each pleat to ensure the classic off-white and gold kasavu fabric falls perfectly, creating a look of simple, divine grace for the bride.

For a modern and chic look, I often suggest a low-drape style. It’s a contemporary twist on the classic saree that looks effortlessly elegant and is perfect for cocktail parties or receptions.

About Featured

When you see perfectly sharp pleats in these photos, that is the result of my specialized pre-pleating service. I prepare, steam-iron, and box-fold your saree in my studio beforehand, so on the morning of your wedding, the actual draping takes less than three minutes. This gives you a structured, slim-fit silhouette that is securely pinned to withstand long hours of sitting, standing, and walking during your ceremonies.

My Draping Philosophy

For over 20 years, I have believed that a saree should be an extension of a bride's confidence, not a source of stress. Whether you are opting for a traditional look or a modern silhouette, the foundation is always the same: security and comfort.

Specialized Regional Styles

I specialize in authentic regional drapes that require precision and deep cultural knowledge. My work frequently includes:

  • Tamil Brahmin (Madisar): Creating the traditional nine-yard drape with the necessary structural integrity for religious rituals.
  • Kerala Settu Saree: Ensuring the crisp white and gold kasavu fabric falls with grace, focused on the specific pleating techniques that define this classic look.
  • Maharashtrian (Nauvari): A technical drape that I secure to allow for easy movement while maintaining the intended aesthetic.

Ready-to-Wear Convenience

My studio in Dombivli is where I process sarees for my pre-pleating service. This is ideal for brides with a packed schedule who want the luxury of a professional drape without the time commitment on the day of the event. I measure the saree against your height and shapewear, ensuring that when you step into the drape, it is ready to pin.

On-Location Support

I travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area to provide on-site styling. Beyond the drape itself, I assist with:

  • Accessory Fixing: Setting heavy necklaces, waist belts (Kamarbandh), and shoulder brooches.
  • Veil Placement: Securely pinning head veils so they stay in place throughout the event.
  • Ritual Security: Using a double-lock pinning technique to ensure your saree stays perfect from the first ritual to the final reception dance.
