About Indo-Western Fusion & Covers: Our Unique Sound
When we tackle a classic pop track or a Bollywood hit, we do not just play the standard version. We break down the arrangement, inject an Indian classical melody or a funky bassline, and rebuild it to fit your specific event atmosphere.
Our approach to Indo-Western fusion is about finding the sweet spot where different musical cultures meet. We take artists like Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, or A.R. Rahman and apply our own filter. This might mean adding a soulful Indian classical outro to a global pop anthem or using an Ableton Push to layer electronic production with live vocals and guitar.
How We Create Our Sound
- Arrangement: We rewrite rhythm sections to incorporate funk or jazz elements, making danceable versions of slow songs.
- Language: We fluidly transition between English pop and Hindi tracks, ensuring the setlist flows for diverse guest lists.
- Instrumentation: Depending on the setup, we use a mix of live instruments like guitar, keys, and drums, or digital production tools for a modern, crisp sound.
Whether it is a high-energy Sangeet, a corporate party, or an intimate gathering, we treat the setlist as a conversation. If you want a specific classic retro song reimagined with a modern rock vibe, or a popular chartbuster slowed down into a soft acoustic ballad, we make it happen. We are based in Mumbai, but we travel throughout India to bring this unique blend of sounds to your venue.
