About Concerts & Festivals: The Big Stage Energy
When we hit a festival stage, the sound setup is everything. I travel with my own dedicated sound engineer to every large gig because getting that crisp, balanced mix in an open-air venue or a massive ballroom is non-negotiable for a great show.
Performing at festivals like Popupland or large events at venues like Ganesh Kala Krida Rangmanch has taught me that the vibe is only as good as the sound quality. My band, The Sarah Collective, is a 5-piece setup that includes vocals, guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums. We do not use backing tracks for these sets, which means you get that authentic, live rhythm section interaction that really connects with a crowd.
Our Performance Style
We mix Bollywood dance hits with international pop rock like Coldplay or Dua Lipa, and we love throwing in our signature Indo-Western fusion twists. Whether you want a high-tempo Bollywood set for a sangeet or a mix of English pop and Sufi-rock for a festival, we adapt our setlist to match the energy of your event.
Technical Requirements
Because we bring a full band and a sound engineer, we do have specific tech needs. We require a professional PA system, a digital mixer, and stage lighting to make the performance look and sound like a proper concert. We usually ask for a standard 5-piece drum kit and specific amplifiers for our bass and guitar players. If you are planning an event, providing a green room for our 6-person crew (5 performers plus our sound engineer) is a big help. We have performed across Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Indore, and we are happy to travel anywhere the stage is waiting for us.
