Professional Headshots for Actors and Models
Your headshot is your business card. I help you build a versatile portfolio with studio sessions that highlight your true range, not just a pose.
This headshot is all about natural beauty. We used soft lighting and minimal makeup to create a genuine and approachable portrait. This style is perfect for actors who need a shot that shows their true self.
A slight variation on the classic headshot, the head tilt adds a bit of personality and inquiry to the expression. This shot provides another option for a model's portfolio, showing subtle changes in posing.
This tight close-up creates an intimate and powerful headshot. By filling the frame with the model's face, the focus is entirely on her expression and the details of her features, making for a very impactful portfolio image.
Here, I experimented with a background light to create a halo effect. This adds a graphic, almost spiritual element to the portrait, turning a simple headshot into a more artistic and conceptual piece.
This shot demonstrates the power of shadow play. Using a single light source, I created a high-contrast look that sculpts the face and adds a layer of mystery. This is a great technique for creating more dramatic actor headshots.
This is the quintessential clean and symmetrical model headshot. The straight-on angle, balanced lighting, and classic styling create a strong, clear, and professional image that is a staple for any model's book.
This is another strong option for a classic headshot, cropped slightly differently to offer variety. The focus remains on creating a clean, polished image that casting directors and agencies look for.
In this shot, I used a sliver of light to create a dramatic and emotive portrait. This technique, known as short lighting, adds depth and a cinematic quality, perfect for an actor's portfolio to show a more serious side.
About Professional Headshots
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all headshots. We start with a virtual consultation to curate four distinct wardrobe looks—from formal to athletic—ensuring your portfolio actually lands you auditions. During our 5-6 hour session in my Mumbai studio, I use precise, 3-point Godox lighting to sculpt your face and capture the exact expressions you need for casting directors.
A casting director decides if you are the right fit in a fraction of a second. That is why I prioritize authenticity over heavy editing. Whether you need a clean, industry-standard look or something more dramatic with shadow play, I adapt the studio setup to fit your personal brand.
I shoot with a full-frame Nikon system, relying on precise control over light to define your features. After we wrap, every image goes through professional retouching using frequency separation to smooth skin while keeping real texture. You walk away with 10–12 high-end retouched JPEGs, plus a digital contact sheet of 200–300 raw images for your records.
If you have a specific vision—maybe a noir-inspired aesthetic or a high-key commercial look—we build that right in-camera. It is about creating a series of images that feel like they belong in a professional agency book. No fake filters, just great lighting and the right direction.
