Behind every sharp, clean bridal pattern is hours of planning. Explore my sketching process and how I teach these techniques to students in Mumbai.

Watch me create a 'startup' bridal design on paper. This is how I plan and perfect the elements, like these swans in a royal 'jharokha', before applying them on a bride.

A beautiful floral design created on paper. This is part of the curriculum for my 40-day Basic to Bridal Mehndi Course, where I teach you how to create such intricate patterns.

A quick tutorial on how to create a 3D cutwork flower. I teach these techniques and more in my offline mehndi classes in Andheri West, Mumbai.

A quick tutorial on how to draw an easy cutwork flower. It's all about creating a pattern with negative space.

About My Craft: Practice & Process

I always say that the best bridal designs are never guessed on the spot. I sketch every major motif, from these palace domes to peacock pairings, on paper first. This helps me check symmetry and plan where the negative space goes so your hands do not end up looking crowded. If you join my classes, this is exactly the kind of planning I teach you to do before you ever pick up a cone.

Practice is the only way to get those clean, fine lines you see in my bridal work. Whether it is mastering a 3D cutwork flower or perfecting a royal 'jharokha' (window) motif, I spend as much time on paper as I do on skin. This cluster is where I pull back the curtain on that process.

Learn With Me

If you have ever wanted to turn your hobby into a craft, I run a 40-day 'Basic to Bridal' mehndi course in Andheri West. We cover everything from the foundations of Arabic florals to complex figure work like bride and groom portraits.

  • Practical Focus: No boring theory. You learn by doing, working on real clients under my guidance.
  • Flexible Batches: Whether you are working or a student, we have morning, afternoon, and evening slots to fit your life.
  • Certification: You get a certificate upon completion, and I make sure you know how to handle the business side of things, too.

Why The Process Matters

When you see a design on a bride's hand, you are seeing a lot of technical choices made in advance. It is about balancing the 'bharwa' (dense) sections with enough negative space so the skin can breathe. My tutorials here show you the 'how'—like why I use a hairdryer for assisted drying or how I mix my organic henna. If you are a bride, this gives you a peek into how I plan your custom storyboard. If you are a student, these are the techniques I will help you master.
