About Mentoring the Next Generation
When I stand before students, I do not talk about my successes. I talk about the years I struggled to clear college subjects and how I switched streams multiple times. My goal is to show students that your scorecard does not define your professional destiny, but your ability to learn from failure does.
Success is rarely a straight line. During my keynote at the Sri Krishna Degree College graduation, I emphasized that the real education starts when you step out of the classroom. Too many graduates worry about their initial marks or finding the perfect job immediately. My message to them is simple: knowledge is power, and versatility is your greatest asset.
I have navigated through science, commerce, and law. These transitions were not part of a master plan, but necessary steps to find where my skills could actually make a difference. As a lawyer, I see the result of static thinking in the courtroom every day. Mentorship, to me, is about helping the youth understand that they need to be dynamic. Whether they are pursuing a career in law, technology, or social leadership, they need to prioritize ethics and community contribution over temporary gains. I focus on guiding students to build a life of value rather than just a resume. If you are an academic institution looking for a guest speaker who tells the truth about the professional world, I am open to engaging with your students.
