About Grassroots Advocacy & Community Leadership
My Roots and Beliefs
Nanna vruttiye vakeeli vrutti (Law is my profession), but honestly, my real work is with namma jana (our people) in Hangal. I care about local leadership development, not just politics for the sake of power. I’m here to support people finding their own voice and pushing for change from the ground up.
Nammuru Nammavaru – Our Movement
Nammuru Nammavaru is all about unity and pride in our Hangal roots. Oggatte namma dikku, Hanagal namma hakku (Unity is our direction, Hangal is our right) isn’t just a line – it’s how I see community mobilization in rural India. We fight for what matters: addressing problems, keeping our culture alive, and making sure our area stands on its own feet.
How I Work
- I spend a lot of time walking through villages, talking straight with people about what’s bothering them.
- We, Team Sandeep Patil, organise events from Tiranga Yatre to temple functions, and always celebrate our youth’s achievements.
- I speak at local colleges and schools, pushing students to grow for themselves, not just for marks. I make sure to recognise everyone, from specially-abled children to freedom fighters.
Focus & Impact
- My big focus is Hangal Taluk, where we run most of our grassroots movements in Karnataka.
- In Shikaripura, I help students through MY SEVA TRUST, mainly with educational support like free notebooks.
Leadership isn’t about power, but javaabdari (responsibility). That’s how I see it, and that’s how I work.

My Story
Naanu Sandeep Patil. Lawyer by profession, Hangallu nammooru, my heart beats for my people here. I’ve advised leaders from all walks, but I always say: Rajakeeya janara naduve irabeku, nyaayalayakke barakoodadu (Politics belongs with people, not inside the court). Festivals, heroes like Shivaji Maharaj and Dr. Ambedkar, yoga with my dad in Hangal - that’s me, rooted in our culture. My dream? Sthaleeya naayakatvavanna kattabeku (Build strong local leadership). I walk this path with my people, always.
My Work
Legal and Political Advice - I give legal guidance for political figures, leaders, and anyone who needs help. Non-partisan legal counsel is my approach.
Principles First - Nanna vruttiye vakeeli vrutti (Law is my profession). I advise based on fairness and law.
For the People - Naanu namma janada paravaagi irthini (I stand by my people, not any party).
Keep Politics Out of Courts - I fight against anti-politicization judiciary, justice must be separate from politics.
