About Folk & Festive Celebrations
We don't just teach steps, we get you ready for your society’s festive events. Whether it's mastering Dandiya stick formations for Navratri or learning devotional choreography for Janmashtami, I break down these movements so you can feel confident performing in front of your family and neighbors.
Festivals in India are synonymous with dance, but learning the right moves can feel intimidating. My classes focus on the 'fun factor' first. We keep choreography simple and repetitive, which helps even beginners get comfortable quickly.
For Navratri, we focus on rhythmic stick coordination and traditional Garba patterns that look great in a group setting. For Holi or Janmashtami, the focus shifts to expressions and high-energy Bollywood-inspired folk moves that are perfect for school functions or residential colony events. We regularly host these sessions in our Ashok Vihar studio, but we also travel across Gurugram for group workshops. If you're a parent wanting your child to be more active, or an adult looking to let loose during festival season, this is the place to be.
