Garden Features and Architectural Structures
A garden thrives on the dialogue between the built and the living. We design structures that do more than occupy space; they define it.
A winding stone pathway guides you through a vibrant perennial garden. The path is flanked by lush plantings of lavender and other flowering species, leading towards an elegant archway, inviting exploration and creating a sense of journey.
This image showcases a bespoke sculptural bench that acts as a functional piece of art within the landscape. Set against a backdrop of manicured lawns and a high green hedge, it provides a unique and comfortable seating element.
We create spaces for contemplation and peace, such as this installation featuring a Buddha head statue. The backdrop is a textured, circular stone carving with integrated lighting, framed by climbing ivy, creating a serene and spiritual focal point.
A unique design for a grand outdoor staircase, where a central channel is filled with a cascading arrangement of colorful flowers. The stone steps are flanked by rustic walls covered in creeping vines, merging hardscape with softscape.
A view from the bottom of the floral staircase, looking up towards the sky. This perspective highlights the scale of the installation and the way the integrated flowers and wall-side greenery soften the formal structure of the steps.
About Garden Features & Structures
We do not treat hardscaping as a separate entity from the garden. Whether it is the placement of a sculptural stone bench or the integration of a floral channel within a staircase, our approach ensures that every structure feels like it grew from the earth rather than being placed upon it. We balance industrial materials with organic growth to ensure these features remain focal points throughout the changing seasons.
The architecture of a garden often determines how you inhabit it. Our work in structural design focuses on three core principles: materiality, scale, and intent.
Materiality and Integration
We often employ natural stone, mild steel structures, and weather-resistant finishes. For instance, the use of a circular stone carving for a Buddha installation is not just about decoration; it is about creating an acoustic and visual anchor. The frame itself is designed to age gracefully, allowing ivy and creepers to soften the geometry over time.
Functional Geometry
A staircase or a pathway should never be purely utilitarian. By integrating planting channels directly into steps or surrounding pathways with perennial layers, we transform transit areas into spaces of reflection. This is where we blend our architectural background with horticultural science—ensuring that irrigation for these integrated features is seamless and does not compromise the structure's integrity or long-term durability.
Lighting as Structure
Structures are often invisible at night. We use IP-rated spike lights and discreet LED integration to re-map the garden after dark. Our lighting plans emphasize depth, highlighting the texture of stone walls or the silhouette of sculptural benches, ensuring the garden retains its character long after sunset. Whether you are planning a rooftop retreat or a expansive backyard landscape in Delhi NCR, our process ensures that every feature—from a zen fountain to a structural pergola—is built to last and designed to provoke thought.
