When designing your pathways or seating areas, we prioritize materials that survive the harsh Gurugram climate. We typically recommend using stone pavers set with wide gaps for grass, or WPC for decks, as these handle both the intense summer sun and monsoon rains without warping or fading over time.
Hardscaping is the backbone of any functional outdoor space. Without it, a garden can quickly become muddy, inaccessible, or difficult to maintain. Our approach to hardscaping is driven by utility first, aesthetics second.
Material Selection for Durability
We often get asked about the best materials for the Delhi NCR climate. For pathways and driveways, we prefer natural stone slabs over poured concrete. Stone breathes better and doesn't crack as easily under the heat. When we integrate grass between stones, we ensure the drainage is managed properly to prevent waterlogging during the monsoon.
Sculpture and Focal Points
We view garden art like Buddha statues or fountains as focal points that should not require constant care. While marble is beautiful, we often suggest Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) for these elements. FRP is lighter, weather-resistant, and cost-effective, allowing you to move or reposition pieces easily if you decide to rearrange your garden layout later.
Integrating Lighting
Lighting is an essential hardscape element. We don't just add lights for decoration. We design lighting plans that highlight your pathways for safety and illuminate specific plants or walls to create depth.
