About Afro Latin Sundays: Our Weekly Party
The real fun happens on the social floor, not just inside a studio. We keep the atmosphere casual and supportive, which makes it easy to practice your steps without any pressure. If you feel nervous about joining, know that everyone here started as a beginner, and our community loves to rotate partners so you will always find someone to dance with.
Our socials are the heart of the Salsa India family. We run this event every Sunday at Summer House Cafe, a tradition we have maintained for over 11 years. Our resident DJ mixes a set of 40% Salsa, 40% Bachata, and 20% Kizomba to keep the floor moving for four to five hours. You do not need a partner to join, as the social dynamic encourages frequent rotation, helping you meet 10 to 15 people in a single evening. The venue features wooden flooring that is kind to dance shoes and heels alike. We also host short dance animation sessions throughout the night, which are simple group choreographies designed to help everyone loosen up. Entry is free if you register on our guest list via WhatsApp before the 8:00 PM cutoff, while a cover charge applies to stags or late entries after 10:00 PM. Whether you are a seasoned dancer or a complete beginner looking to make friends, this is where you can feel the rhythm and just be yourself.
