Bringing your brand’s products to life through appetizing, texture-focused photography that catches the eye and makes a lasting impression.
This video shows the sheer variety of the Epigamia product line. We used different setups and stop-motion techniques to create a dynamic and abundant feel, perfect for showcasing a brand's entire range.
For Tata Simply Better's new plant-based line, we created this action shot of spicy fingers for the packaging. The goal was to make the vegan product look incredibly delicious and just as appealing as its chicken counterpart.
This packaging shot for Tata's vegan nuggets focuses on the texture and golden-brown color. We used a dipping shot to add a sense of action and appetite appeal, making it look irresistible.
Capturing a deconstructed burger patty for Tata's plant-based range. The image highlights the grilled texture of the patty and the fresh ingredients, communicating a wholesome and tasty meal.
This packaging shot for Granamma banana chips uses hands to create a sense of authenticity and connection. The vibrant colors and playful graphics help the South Indian snack brand feel both traditional and modern.
A colorful flat lay for Granamma's Masala Peanuts and Moong Dal. The composition uses scattered ingredients and bold backgrounds to create a visually exciting image for the snack packaging.
Here, I used a hand to present the Granamma snack packs, creating a feeling of offering and sharing. This style of photography helps build a personal connection between the customer and the product.
This shot for Granamma's Butter Murukku focuses on the product being shared between two hands. It reinforces the brand's story of recipes passed down through generations, making it feel personal and authentic.
This video showcases the full packaging rebrand I shot for Lyallji snacks. The clean, consistent style across different products like Lehsun Sev and cookies helps create a strong, unified brand identity.
An exaggerated low-angle shot of Epigamia's protein milkshakes. This perspective makes the bottles look powerful and energetic, aligning with the "Turbo" branding and fitness-oriented audience.
About Food & Packaged Goods Photography
Creating packaging imagery is about more than just a clean shot; it is about understanding the psychology of appetite. When I shoot for brands like Tata or Epigamia, I focus on the textures—the crunch of a chip or the freshness of ingredients—that make the product look irresistible on a shelf or screen.
Beyond the Pack
A successful product shot communicates quality before a customer even reads the label. My approach focuses on 'appetite appeal,' ensuring that whether it is a snack packet for Granamma or a protein shake for Epigamia, the image tells a story of freshness and reliability.
The Technical Edge
Packaging photography requires precise control. I rely on high-speed sync lighting to freeze movement, like a splash or a pour, ensuring zero motion blur. For complex projects, I use focus stacking techniques, combining multiple exposures to ensure every detail, from the label text to the product texture, is sharp.
Why Collaboration Matters
I do not work alone. From the brainstorming phase to the final retouching, I collaborate closely with professional food stylists. We select the right props, backgrounds, and ingredients to build a visual narrative that aligns with your brand identity. Whether it is an e-commerce packshot for Amazon or a hero shot for a print campaign, the goal is to stop the scroll and drive conversions.
My Process
- Consultation: We start by mood-boarding the project to align with your brand palette.
- Production: Studio sessions in Andheri or location shoots across Mumbai and Pune.
- Execution: Utilizing professional strobe lighting to capture accurate colors and sharp details.
- Post-Production: Advanced color grading and retouching to deliver high-resolution assets ready for packaging or social media.
