This is what happens when you combine a bold red lipstick with high-speed flash photography. I love experimenting with cosmetic textures, and this shot captures the dramatic, melting texture against a stark black background to make the color and gloss pop.
Capturing the perfect whiskey pour is all about timing and light. For this shot, I focused on freezing the motion to show the rich amber color and the energy of the splash, creating a sense of elegance and movement for beverage brands.
For this fine jewelry campaign, the goal was to create a cozy, aspirational moment. I used soft, natural lighting to highlight the sparkle of the diamond ring and bracelet, setting a scene that feels both luxurious and relatable.
This group shot for Epigamia's Turbo range was about showcasing the entire product line in one powerful image. I created a strong, architectural composition to give the products a heroic feel, highlighting the brand's focus on protein and performance.
To reflect the natural, plant-based qualities of Windmill Baby handwash, I created this dynamic splash shot. Capturing the water in mid-air adds a feeling of freshness and purity, bringing the product's core message to life.
This image is from a personal series where I explored form and light using everyday fruits and vegetables. By stacking them in an unusual way and using dramatic, focused lighting, I aimed to create a piece of fine art that makes you see familiar objects differently.
For this Diwali campaign with Marriott, I wanted to capture the luxury and tradition of Indian sweets. The composition uses warm lighting and an elegant gift box to create a festive, celebratory mood that feels both premium and inviting.
About this collection
Getting a clean product shot is rarely just about camera settings. It is a mix of high-speed flash, precise lighting, and often, a little bit of controlled chaos in the studio to get that perfect splash or texture. Whether I am freezing a liquid pour or stacking focus for detailed jewelry shots, my goal is to ensure the final image communicates your product’s quality instantly, without needing a second look.
Photography is my way of experimenting with reality. When you look at these images, you are seeing the result of hours spent dialing in Broncolor lighting, finding the right angle for a product label, or working with a food stylist to get the perfect drip on a dish.
My approach is built on a few core pillars:
- Technical Precision: For liquid and splash photography, I utilize high-speed sync to freeze action in mid-air. For jewelry and small products, I use macro focus-stacking to ensure that every facet and edge is sharp, creating images that look crisp even on a billboard.
- The Collaborative Process: I rarely work in a vacuum. Great commercial imagery, especially in food and lifestyle, requires a team. I work alongside talented food stylists and lighting assistants to ensure the composition is as strong as the lighting.
- Texture and Mood: Whether I am shooting a cosmetic bottle or an artisanal sweet, I focus on the tactile elements. I want the viewer to almost feel the gloss of a lipstick or the coolness of a chilled beverage.
