About Casual & Candid Moments
If you are worried about feeling awkward in front of a camera, these sessions are the antidote. We keep things incredibly relaxed at my HSR Layout studio, letting you wear your own comfortable clothes, like denim and simple shirts, so you can focus on connecting with each other instead of worrying about heavy gowns or complex posing.
Your Pregnancy, Your Way
There is a special kind of magic in the simple, quiet moments of pregnancy. While fancy gowns and elaborate setups have their place, many of the parents who visit my studio in HSR Layout prefer this more grounded approach. It is about documenting the person you are right now, not just the role you are stepping into.
Why Go Casual?
- True Comfort: When you are comfortable in your clothes, you are comfortable in your skin. Wearing your favourite denim or a soft tank top allows you to move naturally and breathe easier during the shoot.
- Focus on Connection: Without the distraction of heavy props or complex wardrobe changes, the camera focuses entirely on your expressions, your touch, and the bond you share with your partner.
- Timeless Appeal: These images have a classic, clean aesthetic that won't feel dated in a few years. They are honest, real, and focus on the emotions that matter most.
How the Session Works
We dedicate 1.5 to 2 hours to your session. This gives us enough time to settle in, chat, and capture those fleeting, unscripted expressions. I guide you gently, but I don't force you into stiff poses. Whether it is a soft look, a laugh, or a quiet gaze between you and your partner, I am just there to catch it as it happens. If you have any personal items like an ultrasound scan or baby shoes you want to include, bring them along—these little details add a layer of personal story to your photos.
