A look into my philosophy of design where sharp tailoring meets abstract art. Explore the collection of couture menswear crafted for red carpets and high-profile moments.
This is where power and poetry meet. I designed this bespoke leather jacket for Vicky Kaushal for the "Tauba Tauba" music video, focusing on a sharp, commanding silhouette with modern zipper details. It’s a look that embodies a confident, edgy energy.
For Aditya Seal's feature in FHM India, I created this printed tuxedo to merge semi-formal sophistication with a relaxed charm. The look features a vibrant paisley print, a satin lapel, and uniquely patterned trousers, showcasing a bold approach to modern tailoring.
Crafting a suit for an artist as refined as Rajkummar Rao is about honouring classic structure while adding subtle distinction. This tailored pinstripe suit features sharp lines and a custom fit, highlighted by discreet red detailing for a touch of individuality.
My work is a constant process of evolution, blending art and design into menswear. In this conversation, I share my core philosophy: creating pieces for the man who is intimidating yet soft, sophisticated yet fluid, and who wants to go beyond the everyday.
I styled Arjun Kapoor in this ensemble that channels a retro sensibility with a modern edge. The look is built around a deep blue suit with a wide, statement collar, creating a silhouette that is both timeless and unapologetically bold.
This look for Gurfateh Pirzada is an exercise in texture and mood. The black textured velvet coat, paired with an all-black ensemble and chain detail, is designed to be a definitive statement piece for evening wear, exuding luxury and confidence.
The Stellar Jacket, worn here by Vikrant Massey, is a piece of modern power dressing. I focused on creating sharp, graphic lines with intricate, shimmering embellishments on the shoulders and body, engineering a garment that is both structured and visually dynamic.
This is a glimpse into "The Gates," my Autumn/Winter 2025 collection. It's an exploration of energy, distortion, and patterns that are still taking form. The collection is born from the abstract, a vision of menswear that is constantly alive and evolving.
About Featured
When we build a piece, it starts with a 30-point measurement profile to ensure the garment moves with you, not against you. I don't just craft a suit, I break down your event requirements and reconstruct a silhouette that balances sharp lines with your personal style. You will go through two mandatory fittings—a raw trial and a final finish—to ensure the fall is exact before it leaves my studio.
The Intersection of Art and Tailoring
My work is defined by the tension between order and chaos. Whether I am designing a printed tuxedo or a textured velvet coat, the process remains the same: I deconstruct the idea, strip it to the core, and rebuild it into something unexpected. This collection represents the pieces that define my approach to modern masculinity.
Why the Process Matters
Luxury is not just about the final look, but the engineering underneath. I use half-canvas construction to ensure the jacket retains its shape while feeling lightweight. Every blazer features internal sweat shields and reinforced pockets, because a garment should handle the demands of a high-profile event while looking immaculate.
Working with My Studio
I operate out of my Defence Colony studio, where I welcome clients for a 30-45 minute conceptualization session. During this time, we define the vibe, sketch the concept, and select materials ranging from heavy Italian wools to leather-wool blends.
- For the Avant-Garde: We experiment with complex mixed-media fabrics and heavy surface ornamentation.
- For the Red Carpet: We focus on structure, sharp lapels, and custom-fit trousers that hold their line.
Every piece is a dialogue between the wearer and the craft. If you are looking for a silhouette that breaks the standard rules, my studio is where we start that conversation.
Saggar Mehra
I approach menswear as a canvas where art meets function. Whether it's a structured velvet coat or a printed tuxedo, I aim to create pieces that feel like a natural extension of your personality, not just another outfit.
