About Party & Glam Looks
Many clients worry that their party makeup will look heavy or cakey by the end of an event. The secret isn't piling on more foundation, but in the skin prep. We strictly follow the CTM (Cleansing, Toning, Moisturizing) process before applying a single drop of product. This ensures your base remains breathable and stays fresh, whether you are under bright event lights or out for a long evening.
At Rumr, my goal is to find the right balance between 'glam' and 'real'. When I create party looks, I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. For an evening reception, we might focus on a classic, sultry smoky eye or bold glitter work, but for a corporate photoshoot, we prioritize a dewy, minimalist base that catches the light naturally.
Why the Base Matters
Before we pick up a brush, I analyze your skin type. Dry, oily, and combination skin react differently to heavy products, and if you don't prep properly, the makeup won't last. I teach this in my masterclasses—why you need to color-correct dark circles properly, how to match foundation so it doesn't oxidize, and how to set your look so it survives the night.
Learning to Do It Yourself
If you love these looks but find yourself struggling to recreate them, that is exactly why I started our Personal Grooming Masterclass. I want to make you atmanirbhar (self-reliant). You bring your makeup bag, we audit your products to see what works, and then we practice:
- Classic Glam: Winged liners and perfectly defined brows.
- Evening Transitions: Taking a daytime look and transforming it for the night with bold lips and textures.
- Tool Usage: Learning the difference between a sponge, a stippling brush, and a flat brush.
Whether you are booking me for a service or joining a class, we keep the environment friendly and chill. No judgment, just learning and creativity.
