Mastering the Fundamentals of 10m Air Rifle & Pistol
Precision is built, not born. Learn the essential mechanics of stance, balance, and grip that transform every beginner into a disciplined shooter.
The foundation of a great shooter starts with the right posture. We teach our students how to achieve optimal balance, stability, and body alignment for a steady and repeatable shot.
A firm, consistent, and natural grip is crucial for accuracy and recoil control. This image shows the correct hand position on an air pistol, a fundamental technique we emphasize in our training.
About Mastering the Fundamentals
Many beginners struggle because they focus solely on their hands, but your true stability starts with your core and your stance. We use specific alignment drills to anchor your balance, ensuring your body is locked in before you even place your finger on the trigger.
Building a solid foundation in shooting is a process of unlearning bad habits and mastering control. Our 4-week foundation course is designed to get you comfortable with the basics, starting with International Shooting Sport Federation safety protocols. You will learn the correct open stance and grip, which are the two most important factors in achieving consistency.
We provide standard .177 caliber air rifles and pistols during these sessions so you can learn without worrying about equipment. Beyond the physical act of shooting, we introduce basic breathing techniques that help steady your aim and calm your mind during practice.
As you progress, the curriculum transitions from simple handling to trigger control analysis. We ensure every student understands how to follow through after every shot, which is what separates a lucky hit from a calculated one. Whether you are aiming to compete or just want to develop a new skill, we treat your training with the same level of seriousness and care, ensuring you have the knowledge to practice safely and effectively at any range.
