Daily Horse Care and Boarding Regimen
A disciplined routine is the difference between a happy horse and a tired one. At our Sarjapur Road facility, we follow an army-honed schedule to keep horses healthy, fit, and thriving every day.
This is a glimpse into the daily life at our academy. From a young rider getting confident in the saddle to the essential tasks of grooming and tacking up, every moment is part of building a strong, healthy, and happy equine partner.
Meet some of the wonderful horses that call our academy home. Their bright eyes, curious nature, and healthy coats are a direct reflection of the dedicated care, proper nutrition, and positive environment I provide.
We honor our equine partners through traditions like the Ashwa Puja. This ceremony is a way for us to show gratitude and respect for the horses who are the heart and soul of our academy.
A look at the different activities at our academy. From groundwork and lunging in the round pen to showjumping practice and simply enjoying time in nature, we offer a holistic experience for both horse and rider.
About Daily Regimen: Discipline & Well-being
The horses here aren't just stabled; they live on a fixed athlete’s schedule. We don't guess when to feed or groom—every animal gets three scheduled meals, daily hoof picking, and consistent turnout time in green paddocks. If you are looking for boarding, expect the same military-style discipline applied to their diet and hygiene that I applied to my training in the service.
Consistency is Key
In the army, routine is everything. I have brought that same mindset to Royal Equestrian Academy. Whether your horse is a jumper, a dressage partner, or just enjoying their retirement, they receive identical attention to detail. Our masonry stable boxes provide a safe, non-slip environment, while our three-meal-a-day feeding plan—balanced with hay, lucerne, and concentrates—ensures consistent energy levels.
Health and Hygiene
We don't wait for issues to arise. Daily grooming is not optional; it is how we catch early signs of fatigue or skin issues. Every horse gets their hooves picked, their coat brushed, and their mood assessed during every grooming session. Our facilities also include an on-site horse ambulance for peace of mind, because safety is not something we compromise on.
What to Expect
We are transparent about our services so you know exactly what your monthly fees cover:
- Housing: 10x12 or 12x12 ft masonry stalls with daily mucking and fresh bedding.
- Diet: Three meals daily, including green fodder and concentrates.
- Care: Daily grooming, hoof picking, and turnout in our green spaces.
Note that vet bills, farrier visits, and vaccinations are billed at actuals. If your horse needs professional schooling to build top-line muscle for competitive jumping or dressage, we offer performance livery that includes training 4-6 days a week. We take the job of caring for your athlete seriously, so you can focus on the bond you share.
