Creating spaces that honor tradition with a modern, graceful touch. I design intimate, peaceful settings that feel rooted in culture and light.

The entrance to this spiritual talk was designed to be a gentle welcome. We used an easel with a floral arrangement of purples and whites, paired with traditional brass vases, to set a tone of peaceful reverence from the very first step.

This video showcases the decor for a spiritual event inspired by traditional Indian aesthetics. From the Pichwai-style cow cutout to the lotus-themed backdrop and arrangements of fresh flowers, every element was chosen to create an atmosphere of modern awakening rooted in ancient wisdom.

About this collection

When styling these gatherings, I prioritize intimacy and flow. I avoid cluttering the space, instead using specific elements like brass vessels, fresh lotus, and warm lighting to naturally guide the eye toward the center of the event. It is about enhancing the existing energy of the room rather than masking it.

There is a specific kind of quiet that a traditional gathering needs. It is not about flash or volume. When I work on spiritual events, baby showers, or cultural functions, my goal is to create a 'pause' in the day.

My approach usually begins with the architecture of the room. If we are in a home, I work with the natural light and existing furniture to integrate the decor, rather than pushing it into a corner. If we are in a larger hall, I create 'zones' using floral clusters and textiles so the space feels contained and cozy rather than vast and impersonal.

I often use Pichwai-inspired motifs or lotus themes because they carry a sense of history and calm. But I am careful with how they are applied. For instance, instead of overwhelming a wall with heavy prints, I prefer using delicate cutouts or soft-painted backdrops that provide a gentle focus point. For floral work, I stick to seasonal, fragrant blooms—tuberose, jasmine, and fresh lotus—because the scent is as much a part of the memory as the visuals.

One thing I always discuss with clients is the balance between tradition and convenience. We might use high-quality artificial silk florals for large, high-reach installations to keep them looking fresh all day, while using 100% real flowers for the centerpieces and areas where guests will be sitting or interacting. This keeps the look pristine and ensures the environment remains comfortable and welcoming for your guests throughout the event.

I'm Ipsa. I believe the most beautiful events are the quietest ones. When I design a traditional gathering, I'm not thinking about big, flashy backdrops; I'm thinking about the feeling of peace you get when you walk into a room that honors your roots.
