Great food deserves a backdrop that tells a story. Whether it is a cafe terrace or a destination shoot, I bring the vibe to your brand visuals.

A short travel-style reel from my Jaipur trip. It combines quick cuts of the Hawa Mahal with shots of me enjoying a meal, capturing the feeling of being a food and travel explorer in the Pink City.

Food photography is not just about the dish, it's about the story. Here, a traditional Rajasthani thali is captured at The Tattoo Cafe, with the iconic Hawa Mahal creating a stunning, unforgettable backdrop that connects the food to its culture.

A decadent Ferrero Rocher shake held up against the Hawa Mahal. This shot is perfect for social media, combining a drool-worthy dessert with a world-famous landmark for a highly shareable image.

A colorful blueberry milkshake with the Hawa Mahal softly blurred in the background. This composition keeps the focus on the refreshing drink while still giving a strong sense of place.

A plate of loaded nachos with cheese sauce, salsa, and olives, framed against the sunny Jaipur sky and Hawa Mahal. This image captures a perfect cafe snack in a beautiful travel setting.

About this collection

When I shoot on location, it is about more than just the plating. For this Jaipur project, we used the Hawa Mahal as our natural lighting and architectural frame to elevate a standard thali into a story. If your cafe or product has a specific aesthetic, or if you are planning a destination shoot, let us talk about how to integrate your surroundings rather than just hiding them behind a studio backdrop.

Why Location Shoots Change the Game

A studio setup is clean, but a location shoot is living. Like we did with The Tattoo Cafe in Jaipur, incorporating the environment, whether it is a bustling Delhi street corner or a quiet rooftop, adds a layer of authenticity that stock photos just cannot match. It is about creating that 'I want to be there' feeling for your customers.

The Technical Side

Shooting outside brings challenges: harsh midday sun, crowds, and changing light conditions. My approach balances these variables.

  • Natural Light Management: I use a mix of bounce cards and soft modifiers to keep the product properly lit while retaining the atmospheric background.
  • Composition: We frame the product to interact with the environment, not just sit in front of it.
  • Flexibility: I carry a compact, high-mobility kit. This means I can set up quickly, grab the hero shots, and move to the next angle before the food cools down.

Planning Your Shoot

Whether you want to shoot at your own venue in Delhi, Noida, or Gurugram, or you have a specific destination project in mind, the process remains the same. We define the vibe first. Are we going for cozy and warm, or bright and urban? Once we lock that, I bring the gear that fits the space. If you are a cafe owner, we will look at your architecture. If you are a brand, we will look at the lifestyle elements that tell your story.
