Watch our students transform simple components into functioning smart devices. From automatic hand washers to security systems, see how they build, code, and innovate.

Two students present their brilliant IR-based automatic hand washer and hand dryer. This project demonstrates a practical application of infrared sensors to create a touchless, hygienic solution.

Parking made easy. These students explain their parking sensor model, which uses an ultrasonic sensor, LEDs, and a buzzer to indicate distance, just like the technology in real cars.

This team of young innovators presents their solar-powered motion sensor. They explain how it uses a PIR sensor to detect movement and a Raspberry Pi to trigger an alert, all powered by clean energy.

Time for a great project. Students demonstrate a digital timer they built, explaining how the display and buttons work. It's a fantastic introduction to programming time-based functions and user interfaces.

Open sesame. A student showcases his sound-activated "Safe Door" that uses a sound sensor and servo motors to open and close, a creative project with applications in homes, offices, and more.

This team demonstrates a sequential LED light system that responds to an ultrasonic sensor. As an object gets closer, more lights turn on, visually representing distance and teaching sensor calibration.

Presenting the "NBO Time," a smartwatch prototype built by our students. Using a Raspberry Pi and various sensors, it measures air quality, pressure, and temperature, showcasing an advanced level of system integration.

A student presents her solar-powered motion sensor with a buzzer. She clearly explains how the solar panel charges the battery for nighttime operation, making it a self-sufficient security device.

This Grade 4 student demonstrates his security car system. He shows how an ultrasonic sensor detects a nearby object and triggers a buzzer, a simple yet effective alarm system.

Clap on, clap off. This team of Grade 4 students proudly demonstrates their sound-activated switch, explaining the components like the clap sensor and transistor that make it work.

About Student Showcase: Smart Devices & Automation

These projects are not just display models. Every creation here, from the infrared-based hand dryers to the solar motion sensors, was coded and wired by our students. They start with breadboards and jumper wires, learning to troubleshoot real circuits until their own idea actually works.
