Specialized Surveillance for Buses and Commercial Vehicles
Surveillance goes beyond just four walls. I install rugged, vibration-proof camera systems in buses and commercial vehicles to ensure passenger safety and fleet monitoring.
Here you can see a dome camera and panic button I installed on the ceiling of a bus. I am experienced in vehicle surveillance setups for transport companies that need to ensure passenger safety and monitor their fleet.
About Specialized Installations
Installing cameras in a bus is very different from a house. The vehicle is constantly moving and vibrating, which can loosen standard connections or damage sensitive hardware over time. I use specific cabling routes and shock-resistant mounting to make sure the wires stay fixed and the cameras keep recording perfectly, no matter the road conditions.
When you put security systems in a moving vehicle, the environment is much harsher than an office or a home. Dust, humidity, and constant physical movement mean you cannot just stick a camera up and hope it stays there.
My approach to vehicle surveillance focuses on durability:
- Vibration Management: I use reinforced mounts and heavy-duty industrial clips to secure every camera and cable. This prevents the shaking that often causes 'video loss' in cheaper setups.
- Wiring Protection: In buses, cables are exposed to passenger movement and roof vibrations. I run all wiring through protective conduits or high-grade clips to prevent accidental damage, ensuring the connection from the camera to the DVR remains stable.
- Clear Visibility: Buses have specific blind spots, particularly around entry and exit gates. I position lenses to cover these high-traffic areas, ensuring the driver has a clear view of what is happening inside the cabin.
- Stable Power: I use dedicated power supplies that can handle the varying voltage of a vehicle battery, preventing the system from rebooting every time the bus engine starts.
Whether you need to monitor a single transport van or an entire fleet of buses, I handle the technical side so you get a reliable feed you can check on. I also configure the system to connect with your mobile devices, so you can track what is happening even when you are not on the road. If you have an existing setup that keeps failing or flickering, call me to take a look. I usually find it is a cabling or connection issue that can be fixed without replacing the whole system.

I am RK Gautam. I do not just work on static buildings; I enjoy the technical challenge of setting up surveillance where things move. Whether it is a bus or a commercial vehicle, I handle the installation myself, from the first wire to the final mobile app setup.
