Custom Natural Henna Art by Komal
I specialize in storytelling through mehendi. Whether it is an intricate bridal portrait, a fun baby shower design, or a unique fusion of henna and Alta, I create custom art using 100% natural ingredients safe for all skin types.
This full-arm bridal henna tells a complete family story. On one arm, I've created a portrait of the bride with her mother, and on the other, a scene with her father and sister, capturing precious family bonds in intricate detail for her wedding day.
I love creating special henna for baby showers. This video shows a close up of a design featuring portraits of the expecting parents and their baby, along with cute motifs like a teddy bear in a hot air balloon, making it a beautiful celebration of new life.
For a unique and modern statement, I offer 'blouse henna'. This video showcases a custom henna design on the back and shoulder, created to complement a strapless blouse. It's a beautiful way to adorn your body for special events.
My art often incorporates deep cultural and spiritual elements. This video details a Jain '14 Swapna' design, where each of the fourteen auspicious dreams seen by Trishla Mata is represented, telling a story of faith and virtue for the client.
I specialize in creating fusion designs that honor different traditions. Here is a unique combination of henna and alta for a Bengali bride, where the red alta beautifully fills the center of the mandala, celebrating her cultural heritage.
I also offer safe, temporary colored henna tattoos. This is a great option for kids, anyone with allergies to natural henna, or for those who want a playful pop of color. Here you can see a fun cat design next to a more traditional colored floral pattern.
Henna art doesn't have to be temporary. This video shows my process of creating a custom framed henna keepsake, turning a beautiful mandala design into a permanent piece of art that can be gifted or displayed in your home.
About this collection
When I say good things take time, I mean it. My 100% natural, home-mixed henna does not show its deepest color instantly. It needs about 35 hours to reach its peak, rich mahogany stain. Please plan your appointment at least two days before your event to ensure that perfect result for your celebration.
My work is about more than just patterns. I want your mehendi to be a reflection of who you are and what you care about. I use only pure, natural henna, so you never have to worry about harsh chemicals or skin reactions.
I love working on detailed, personalized storytelling. This can be anything from a 'proposal moment' portrait on your palm, a tribute to your parents like 'Papa ki Laadli,' or deep cultural motifs such as the Jain 14 Swapna. For my Bengali brides, I also love doing a fusion of traditional Alta with intricate henna mandalas.
Beyond traditional wedding work, I create henna portraits on paper and scented candles that make for wonderful, lasting gifts. If you are looking for something temporary for a photoshoot, a kids' party, or if you have specific skin sensitivities, I also offer safe colored henna and body art. Every design is a collaboration, and I am here to make sure your henna feels like your own personal story.
