I don’t believe in rushing the prep. Whether it’s a simple party look or a bridal session, I start every appointment with a deep cleansing and hydrating sheet mask ritual. This isn’t just for pampering—it’s the only way to ensure your makeup layers smoothly on the skin without patchiness or creasing, especially in our humid climate. When your skin is hydrated and prepped, the foundation doesn't just sit on top; it melts in, giving you that 'skin-like' finish that stays fresh through all the dancing and photos.
My Approach to Flawless Makeup
When we sit down in my chair, the first thing I want to know is how you want to feel. My process is built around two pillars: deep skin health and intentional layering.
The Prep Ritual Makeup is only as good as the canvas. Before a single product touches your skin, I assess your skin type. For dry skin, I focus on heavy hydration; for combination skin, I balance the oils. This ensures that when I apply products from brands like Dior, Huda Beauty, or Chanel, the finish is natural, not cakey.
Light Layering Technique I never cake on products. Instead, I build the coverage in light, deliberate layers. This allows me to neutralize dark circles, conceal blemishes, and contour while keeping the skin looking like skin. Whether you want a soft glam reception look or a traditional Rajasthani bridal style, this technique ensures you don’t feel like you’re wearing a mask.
Setting for Longevity I know you have a long day ahead. I use specific 'lock-in' techniques, like pressing and rolling setting powder—never dragging or baking unnecessarily—to prevent texture. My use of long-wear setting sprays ensures your look stays put through everything from the ceremony to the final dance.
