About Behind the Scenes: Our Labour of Love
Every candle you see here is hand-poured right in our Okhla studio, with no industrial machines—just a lot of soy wax, focus, and my Rhuhee girls. When you order, you aren't getting something mass-produced; you're getting a piece of our daily hustle and care, from the wick placement to the final ribbon tie.
The Rhuhee Studio Process
There is no 'factory' here. When you walk into our Okhla Phase II studio, you will find us amidst a whirlwind of melting soy wax, fragrance oils, and drying botanicals. We believe that if you can see how it is made, you can trust what you are buying.
The Crafting Journey:
- Sourcing & Mixing: It starts with choosing the right soy wax for a clean, long burn. We experiment with fragrances—from festive Tuberose to calming Citronella—right on our work tables.
- Hand-Pouring: Whether it is a batch of our Lotus Urlis or a unique shell candle, every vessel is filled by hand. We monitor the cooling process to ensure the surface is smooth and the wax sets perfectly.
- The Finishing Touch: This is where the 'mess' happens. We hand-place dried rose petals, marigolds, or our signature evil eye charms. It is detail-oriented work, and honestly, it is the best part of the job.
