A Peek Into My World: Reet Kaur
Behind the brushes and the glam, this is where you get to know the person behind the makeup. Here is a little glimpse into my philosophy, my hustle, and why I do what I do.
A note from my heart about why I love what I do. It’s not just about makeup; it’s about being part of someone’s most precious moments and the love and trust I receive from my clients.
Posing in my workspace. Being a makeup artist is a journey filled with creativity, connection, and the privilege of making people feel confident and beautiful.
Taking a moment to reflect. Every bride's story and every student's growth enriches my life and reminds me why I chose this path.
Behind every successful woman is someone who makes sure she doesn't forget to eat! A little behind-the-scenes moment where my husband makes sure I take a break during a long shoot.
A simple self-portrait. This is me, ready to create and teach.
Another look at my everyday glam. I believe in feeling confident in your own skin, with or without makeup.
A quick get-ready-with-me video showing a romantic glam look. Even as a professional, I still love playing with makeup and creating new looks for myself.

About A Bit About Me
People often ask how I manage it all, from early morning bridal starts to running my academy in Sector 51. The truth is, it is not always glamorous. It is early mornings, tiffin boxes in the car, and a lot of caffeine. But when I am with a client, the chaos fades. My goal is to build a connection that goes beyond just applying foundation. I want you to feel seen and comfortable in my chair, knowing that I am handling your look with the same care I would give a friend.
Makeup is deeply personal for me. When I started, I did not want to just be another service provider. I wanted to create an experience where you feel like you are getting ready with someone who actually cares about how you feel, not just how you look. Whether I am in my studio in Gurugram or traveling for a destination wedding, my approach is simple: I listen first, then I create.
My work is not just about a flawless base or a sculpted look. It is about fixing the little things that cause panic, like handling a skin reaction or helping you stay calm when the wedding nerves kick in. I have seen brides go from stressed to radiant, and that transformation is why I love this industry.
Beyond the bridal chair, I run my academy. I believe in passing on the craft, which is why I keep my batches small. I want my students to learn that this career is about dedication. You will not find me hiding behind corporate speak because I believe in direct communication. If we are working together, you get me, my expertise, and my honesty. If you see me balancing a brush in one hand and my daily life in the other, know that it is all part of the passion that fuels my work.
