Ever wonder what happens before the final reveal? Come behind the curtain to see the real, unfiltered life of a makeup artist in Delhi NCR—from early morning studio sessions to industry events.

Here is my very first vlog. Come along for a busy day of client makeovers, attending the Vogue Wedding Atelier to stay updated on trends, and enjoying some quiet moments in between.

If you open my camera roll, you'll find endless client photos and videos. As a makeup artist, my phone is a gallery of all the beautiful faces I've had the pleasure of working on.

Makeup, hair, and outfit check. This is your reminder that a little glam can turn any day into a runway. Getting ready is part of the fun and sets the mood to slay the day.

My version of a break often looks like this: cleaning and organizing my makeup kit. There's something so therapeutic and satisfying about seeing all my products fresh and ready for the next client.

This is me doing my favorite work. When I'm in the zone, creating a look and connecting with my client, I forget everything else. It's these moments that I truly live for.

Every makeup artist can relate to this. Just when you think you're done with the look, there's always that one last touch-up to make sure everything is absolutely perfect before they walk out the door.

The best results happen when we work together. A client's small gesture, like holding a mirror or tilting their head, makes the process smoother and shows the trust between us. These moments mean the world.

About A Day in My Life: Behind the Scenes

People often see the polished final result, but the real work happens in the hours before the cameras start. Whether it is meticulously sanitizing my kit between appointments or navigating Delhi’s unpredictable monsoon traffic to reach a venue on time, preparation is the foundation of my service. When you choose a makeup artist, you are not just paying for brushes; you are paying for someone who knows how to manage the chaos so you can stay calm and enjoy your day.

Real Life, Real Makeup

Being a makeup artist is not just about applying products; it is about being a reliable partner on your biggest days. My days in Gurugram are anything but predictable. One day I am at my studio in DLF Phase 2 conducting a Pro Masterclass for aspiring artists, and the next, I am at a hotel or a local venue for a bridal booking.

The Reality of the Job

  • Kit Maintenance: You will often find me deep-cleaning my brushes and organizing my vanity. It is therapeutic, but more importantly, it is about hygiene. My kit is a mix of luxury icons and drugstore heroes, and every product is there because it performs.
  • Client Connection: The best looks happen when there is trust. I love those moments where a client tilts their head or helps hold the mirror—those small gestures tell me we are on the same page.
  • Staying Current: To keep my skills sharp, I attend events like the Vogue Wedding Atelier. Trends change rapidly, and I make it a point to stay updated so I can offer fresh, relevant advice—whether you are a bride or a student in my workshop.

Why This Matters

Whether you are booking me for a wedding or joining my workshops, I want you to know who you are working with. I do not believe in hiding behind filters. My work is about enhancing what you already have, making you feel confident and comfortable in your own skin. It is messy, it is hectic, and it is absolutely worth it.
