A good shot does not just happen. Before I pick up the camera, I spend time adjusting the softbox lights and testing reflections on products, especially for glossy items like coffee mugs or jewelry. It is about patience and shifting props by just a few millimeters until the shadows fall exactly where they should.

The Studio Reality

What you see on Instagram is the result, but the real work happens in the setup. My studio in Palam Vihar is a playground for these experiments. Whether I am shooting a fashion lookbook or a simple food spread, the goal is to make the product the star of the show.

My Approach to Lighting

Lighting is everything in commercial photography. For small products, I prefer using soft, diffused light to avoid harsh glare. If I am shooting something with texture, like a linen shirt or a bakery item, I often play with side lighting to create depth and dimension.
