About Love on the High Seas: Cruise Weddings
Shooting on a cruise ship is unlike any hotel or palace venue. The light shifts constantly with the ship's path, and we have to work around wind conditions and deck logistics. My team and I study the ship's itinerary and the sun's position relative to the deck before the events even begin, so we capture those perfect golden hour portraits without you ever feeling like you are posing for a camera.
When you choose a cruise for your wedding, you aren't just picking a venue, you are picking a journey. As a photographer, this changes everything. We operate with a compact, agile setup to navigate the ship’s corridors and intimate deck spaces without disrupting the guest experience.
I treat the ship as a character in your story. We use drones to get sweeping shots of the vessel cutting through the open water and focus on candid moments—the wind in the bride’s hair, the energy of a live performance on deck, or a quiet sunrise exchange of vows.
My crew and I are experienced with the technical challenges of sea weddings, from managing saltwater exposure to the logistics of 4K cinema production in remote locations.
