I use drone photography to weave your location into your love story. From grand mountainscapes to quiet vineyard sunsets, aerial shots bring a cinematic scale to your wedding or pre-wedding film.

An aerial view of the stunning Rhythm Lonavala resort during Parth and Dhriti's wedding. This drone shot captures the beautiful layout of the venue, including the unique guitar-shaped pool.

A breathtaking aerial shot of the landscape surrounding Lonavala. This shows the scale and beauty of the location, adding context and grandeur to the wedding story.

The bottom image in this set is a wide drone shot of Pia and Zubin at Sula Vineyards, capturing the vastness of the lake and landscape as the sun sets.

The top half of this image is a drone shot showing the wedding venue set against a vast, mountainous desert landscape, highlighting the epic scale of this destination wedding.

This cinematic film of a Khimsar wedding uses sweeping drone shots to reveal the magnificent palace and its surroundings, creating a truly grand and impressive opening.

This film from Phuket makes extensive use of drone footage to capture Harman and Komal against the dramatic cliffs and ocean, giving their story a powerful, cinematic feel.

About Aerial & Drone Perspectives

Capturing aerial footage requires more than just a camera in the sky, as it depends heavily on local fly zone regulations and specific weather windows. While I love the drama of a wide drone shot, I prioritize safety above all else, ensuring we only fly when the light is perfect, usually during the golden hour, to get that cinematic, glowing frame.

For me, a drone is not just a tool for a cool photo. It is an instrument of storytelling. When I capture an aerial shot of a venue like a palace in Rajasthan or the vineyards in Nashik, I am looking to establish the scene, to show how you exist within the vast, beautiful world around you.

Why Aerial Perspectives Matter

Photography is often about the intimate, but cinematography is about the grand. Aerial footage provides the 'wide shot' that turns a simple wedding into a cinematic experience. It allows us to capture the scale of a landscape, the architecture of a venue, and the mood of the environment in a way that ground-level photography simply cannot.

The Logistics of a Good Shot

Many couples ask if drones are always an option. The reality is that drone flight is subject to strict local permissions and weather conditions. I always scout for fly zones well before your event to ensure we are compliant. If we are in a no-fly zone, I will not force it. Instead, I shift focus to high-angle photography using natural vantage points to achieve a similar sense of scale.

My Approach to Drone Cinematography

When you book my Cinematic Film & Photo experience, the drone work is integrated into the narrative. I do not just fly high to look down; I use low-altitude, sweeping movements to create a sense of motion and reveal. This is how we get those 'movie opening' shots that make your wedding film feel like a story, rather than just a collection of clips.

I’m Nikhil, and I treat the landscape like another character in your love story. Whether it’s the quiet dunes of Rajasthan or the vast, blue horizon in Phuket, I’m always looking for that one angle that makes the moment feel larger than life.
