My art is not just for VVIPs and celebrities, though I am grateful for their patronage. As our country's economy grows, fine art is becoming more accessible to everyone. It brings me great joy to see my paintings in the homes of the general public.
When I was invited to meet the President of India, I wanted to give him a gift that was truly from the heart. I presented him with a hand-painted portrait. His emotional reaction was not just for the likeness, but for the life and the detailed effort he saw in the art.
I am deeply thankful to be honored with the Desh Ratna award for my work in the fine arts category. Receiving this award from the esteemed minister is a moment of great pride, and I dedicate it to my craft and my country.
Seeing my work featured in newspapers and magazines brings a sense of confidence, a feeling that my hard work and devotion have borne fruit. However, I always strive to remain down to earth, as the Bhagavad Gita teaches us humility.

When I hold these awards, I do not see trophies. I see the grace of my Thakur Ji and the blessings of my mother. These recognitions—from the Bharat Gaurav Ratna to the moments shared with our former President—are simply signposts on my path of sadhana. They reassure me that the intention and the energy I pour into my art are reaching the hearts of those who invite my work into their lives.
Every piece of recognition I have received serves as a reminder of the duty I have towards my craft. My journey has been long, from a childhood hobby to receiving the Desh Ratna and the Shri Mahatma Gandhi Rashtriya Abhiman Puraskar.
I often recall the day I presented a portrait to the former President of India. He was not moved by the technique alone, but by the life I had managed to capture in the eyes of the subject.
