When we plan your custom design, I sit down with you to understand the specific moments, like the date you met, your wedding hashtag, or even a particular portrait style. It is not just about filling space with traditional motifs; we integrate these elements so they feel like part of the art rather than just being added at the end.
Every person has a different story, and my goal is to make sure your hands tell that story clearly. Whether you want a subtle nod to your journey or a bold statement, we can incorporate details like your partner's name, the coordinates of where you first met, or a portrait of both of you.
The Process of Customization
- Portraits and Figures: For the 'Bespoke Figures' package, I map out the placement of faces and figures first to ensure proportions are correct before filling in the surrounding intricate jaal or floral work.
- Text and Hashtags: I can write your wedding hashtag or names in either Hindi or English. I recommend deciding on the placement early, as this determines how much surrounding space we have for traditional elements like paisleys and lotuses.
- Natural Henna: Regardless of how complex the design is, I only use 100% natural, organic henna. This ensures that even the most detailed portrait work leaves a rich, deep colour that lasts through your wedding events.
