About Personalised Story & Portrait Mehendi
For portrait work, I need clear photos of the couple to sketch accurate silhouettes. This isn't just about a standard bride-groom figure; I integrate your specific wedding attire, the groom's sherwani, and even your jewelry into the henna. We spend time finalizing these details during our pre-wedding consultation, ensuring that when I sit down to apply the henna, every line matches the vision we discussed.
How We Build Your Story
I believe your mehendi should be a reflection of your journey. When you opt for a portrait or storytelling package, the process is quite different from standard applications.
The Design Phase Before we even pick up the cone, we sit down to discuss the elements. Do you want to include the venue where you met? Or maybe a specific moment like the ring ceremony or a varmala? We sketch these ideas out to make sure they fit perfectly on your arms. Because this requires high precision, I allocate dedicated time to ensure the 'jaali' (mesh) work and the portrait shading are consistent.
The Execution These designs are extensive, often taking 6 to 8 hours to complete. My team and I work to ensure you stay comfortable during this long session. I use 100% organic henna, which is critical for these detailed designs—it gives a rich, deep stain that makes the fine lines of the portraits and the 'jharokha' (window) frames pop, giving you that vibrant color I guarantee.
The Details Matter I avoid generic 'stamped' figures. Whether it's the groom's pagri (turban) or the specific embroidery on your lehenga, I aim to capture the essence of your wedding outfit. This level of customization is what makes my clients smile when they see the final result. If you have any specific themes or symbols you want to incorporate, let me know, and we can plan it together.
