The Art of Flow: Practice and Movement Meditation

This isn't just about performance—it's movement medicine. Here, I share the quiet, meditative side of my practice that keeps me grounded.

Flowing with palm torches by a pond at dusk. The sound of the crickets and the gentle crackle of the fire is my favorite kind of music. This is pure, meditative flow.

Tame that dragon. A beautiful, flowing session with a dragon silk poi, with the sun setting in the background. The way the silk catches the light is just magical.

Poi is home. A session with veil poi in front of a beautiful hut, a reminder that my true home is in the state of flow.

There was a time I rarely touched these veil poi, now I can't keep my hands off them. It's amazing how your relationship with a prop can evolve over time.

Let it flow. A daytime performance with silk poi at a music festival, a moment of pure, uninhibited movement.

Sun-day flow. A casual practice session with my poi, just enjoying the movement and the moment.

Laid back Monday flow. A simple, relaxed practice session to start the week, focusing on the geometry and patterns of poi.

Now begin in the middle, and later learn the beginning. A daytime practice session with my Chromatix poi, exploring new patterns against the backdrop of the city.

I miss my old house terrace. A nostalgic clip from a practice session, a reminder of a space that was once a sanctuary for my flow.

I had to squeeze this in a hurry. A quick poi session at the Hampi ruins, with security lurking nearby. Sometimes you just have to seize the moment.

About The Art of Flow: Practice & Meditation

When you watch these practice sessions, you are seeing the raw side of my craft—the hours spent finding rhythm in nature, quiet corners, and even the Hampi ruins. I do not just pick up props for a show; I use these sessions to reset, experiment, and refine the techniques I bring to your events. If you are looking for a performer who treats their art as a living, breathing process rather than a static routine, I am ready to talk.
