I believe a powder room is the one space where you can truly be bold. These compact corners are opportunities to create an immersive, luxurious escape with unique textures, moody lighting, and intentional design.

A powder room should be a hidden gem. In this video, I walk you through a space where we used a custom, backlit sink made of semi-precious agate stones. Paired with black marquina marble walls and cast iron mirrors, it’s a small corner designed to leave a lasting impression.

I live by the principle that the details are not just details; they make the design. This powder room is a testament to that belief, with intricate golden fish-scale tiles creating a textured, reflective wall that contrasts beautifully with the dark marble and stone basin.

This powder room from 'The Aura House' project was designed to feel like a piece of art. A tall, vertical panel of blue and white agate-style art creates a stunning backsplash, complemented by a pink marble vanity and minimalist pendant lighting.

Color can completely transform a small space. Here, I paired bold magenta wall tiles with heavily veined black and white marble. The arched mirror softens the look, while the gold faucet adds a touch of warmth and luxury to this vibrant powder room design.

This bathroom design focuses on clean lines and a refreshing color palette. A deep green vessel sink sits atop a terrazzo-style countertop, flanked by elegant wall sconces. The large, backlit mirror provides excellent, even lighting, making the space feel bright and open.

Texture and warmth define this guest washroom. A wall of penny-round gold mosaic tiles creates a stunning, shimmering backdrop. I paired it with a natural stone vessel sink and gold fixtures to create a space that feels both earthy and incredibly luxurious.

About Luxury Powder Rooms

A powder room is a small space with a big personality. I approach these projects by focusing on tactile details, like the texture of gold-leaf tiles or the depth of black marquina marble, because these areas let us be experimental. Before we start, I make sure the lighting layout is perfect, as a dark, moody corner with the right beam can completely change how you experience the room.
