Dance is a universal language that helps us heal. Through somatic movement, I guide you to connect your mind and body, releasing stored emotions and trauma. This is a glimpse into how we can use simple movements of the spine, hips, and even fingers to let prana, or life force energy, flow freely and rejuvenate your spirit.

For me, dance is about connection, and there's nothing more special than dancing with my husband. This was a performance for a dear friend's sangeet. I choreograph routines like this for couples, helping you feel comfortable and confident on the dance floor for your big day.

This Sufi-inspired choreography is a form of meditation for me. Using a dupatta, I explore expressive movement that connects me to the music and my soul. My sessions often focus on this kind of intuitive dance, where the goal isn't perfection but feeling and release.

Dancing with my family is pure joy. Here I am with my husband and son, just having fun on our rooftop. I love creating simple, energetic routines that families can learn together for a special occasion or just to create a happy memory.

The energy of a group dancing together is pure magic. This was a Dandiya night I organized for a yoga retreat, where we celebrated unity and joy under the stars. I offer group sessions and event choreography to bring this vibrant energy to your celebrations.

Wearing my mother's 30 year old saree, I felt a deep connection to my roots while performing this semi-classical piece. My choreography often blends traditional forms with personal expression, creating something unique and heartfelt for solo performances or sangeet routines.

This free-flowing movement on the beach is what my therapy sessions are all about, finding freedom and gratitude in your own body.

When you join a session at my Lavelle Road studio, expect to move on premium, knee-friendly flooring designed for comfort, not the usual high-stress studio environment. My sessions are not about perfecting a step or hitting a pose; they are about helping your body release stuck energy through spinal flows and intuitive rhythm. If you are here for wedding choreography, we skip the rigid routines and focus on natural movements that make you feel like yourself, even if you have never danced before.

Movement as Healing

My approach to somatic dance is rooted in releasing what no longer serves us. Whether we are doing a 75-minute group session or a 1-on-1, the focus is on the spine, hips, and shoulders—areas where we often store stress. We use aromatherapy and a curated, high-fidelity playlist to shift the energy, moving from tight muscles to fluid release. This isn't a performance; it is a private space to let your prana (life force) move freely without the pressure of being watched.

Custom Wedding & Sangeet Choreography

If you are planning for a wedding in Bengaluru, I help you create routines that feel genuine. I have seen too many people stress over counting steps and failing to enjoy their own sangeet. My choreography process is a dual-layer approach: we focus on technical steps that fit your ability, and I provide expression coaching so you look comfortable on stage.

We typically break the process into 3 in-studio rehearsals of 60 to 90 minutes each. I also provide a recorded tutorial video for your home practice, so you aren't scrambling at the last minute. Whether it is a solo semi-classical piece or a fun family flash mob, the goal is to ensure you feel confident and joyful when the music starts.
