About My Styling Philosophy

When I style a room, I always look for what I call 'the weird stuff.' These are the odd, sculptural pieces with unusual shapes or organic forms that don't quite fit a standard catalog look. Adding one or two of these intentionally creates character, breaking up a perfect, catalog-ready vibe to make a space feel truly lived-in and yours.

For this holiday home bedroom, the mood board was all about sun and waves. We used a cool palette of blues and whites, natural cane headboards, and striped fabrics to evoke a breezy, tropical feeling, perfect for a peaceful escape.5
An inconspicuous door in the living room wall slides open to reveal the master bedroom. The design creates a seamless transition, with the stark black, white, and grey color palette of the bedroom offering a sophisticated contrast to the tan leather bed.
In the 'Aria' master bedroom, we crafted this beautiful in-situ flooring from IPS and marble. The geometric pattern provides a stunning base for the classic black four-poster bed, showcasing our belief that every surface, even the floor, is an opportunity for design.
This guest room features a dramatic Marsala red curved ceiling, detailed with a stark black molding. We designed a sleek, indirect lighting system using a custom wooden rod to cast a dim, warm glow, creating a modern and moody ambiance.

This living room captures the essence of quiet luxury. The custom 12-foot angular sofa in light grey boucle fabric creates an inviting space for connection, while the large monochrome artwork adds a layer of personal, artistic flair. Every element, from the textured armchair to the bold black coffee tables, is chosen to build a harmonious and sophisticated residential interior.8
A master bedroom should be a true retreat. Here, the design is centered around tranquility, with a light beige upholstered bed set against soothing grey wainscoting. The abstract canvas and oak side tables complete this modern farmhouse bedroom, creating a perfect balance of comfort and rustic elegance.
In a city like Mumbai, an outdoor space is a true luxury. This aerial view shows how I transformed a 500 sq. ft. deck into a sprawling urban oasis, complete with a mobile bar, lush planters, and comfortable seating, making it the heart of the home for social gatherings.

Art styling mistakes you don’t know you are making. This post is the cover for a mini-guide where I break down the most common decor pairing mistakes and how to fix them in minutes. It’s about creating a seamless flow between your art and your accents.6
What’s wrong here? This image illustrates a common styling mistake: clashing colors and materials. The orange vase clashes with the pastel art, and the flowers feel off-tone. It’s a small detail, but it creates a big visual miss.
And here is how we made it right. By choosing muted metallic vases and selecting floral colors that tie into the artwork, the entire setup feels harmonious and intentional. This simple switch creates a much more sophisticated and balanced look.
