I turn your love story into art. From your first proposal to your varmala moment, I draw custom portraits on your hands with fine, detailed henna.

A clear view of a bride and groom portrait design. I use careful shading to bring the faces to life, setting them against a background of traditional wedding symbols for a complete bridal look.

This full-arm bridal mehandi features a beautiful couple portrait within an intricate frame on the palm. The design extends up the arm, telling more of the wedding story with different scenes and patterns.

A storytelling design showing a bride portrait on one hand and a couple portrait on the other. The arms are filled with traditional motifs, including a 'doli' scene, symbolizing the bride's journey.

This bride chose to have portraits of herself and her groom on her palms, decorated with beautiful floral hathphool jewelry. The fine lines and detailed work are clear to see.

A full view of a bride's mehandi, with portraits on the hands and matching intricate designs on the feet. The portraits are framed beautifully, making them the centerpiece of the art.

A close-up look at the detail in my portrait work. Notice the fine lines in the jewelry and clothing, and the shading that gives the faces a three-dimensional feel.

This design combines a couple's love for each other with their spiritual side, featuring portraits of Radha and Krishna. The bride's joy is evident as she shows off the finished art.

A fun and happy couple showing off the bride's full mehandi. The design includes their portraits, initials, and traditional peacock motifs, covering the hands and arms completely.

This design tells a story from the bride's entry to the varmala ceremony. I also included a personal touch with a heartbeat motif and the couple's initials.

This full-coverage bridal mehandi is packed with stories, including a 'sindoor' ceremony, a family portrait, and the couple exchanging garlands.

About Couple Portraits & Love Stories

For portrait work, I use a negative space technique to make faces stand out against the henna background. It takes steady handwork and patience, usually 4 to 5 hours just for the palm portraits, so we need to plan the timing for your ceremony accordingly.
