About Rooftop Play & Social Hour
When I say it’s a social hour, I mean it—I am right out there with them, managing the energy. Whether your pup is a wrestling champion or just loves sniffing around, I make sure the interactions stay happy, playful, and safe, ensuring no dog feels overwhelmed.
The rooftop is more than just a play area for me; it is the heart of my boarding routine. Because I do not use kennels, this space serves as the primary zone for exercise and decompression. I carefully match dogs based on their temperament—the high-energy zoomies-lovers get time together, while the quieter, older dogs or those who prefer a bit of solitude get their own time to lounge in the sun or sniff around the corners safely.
Every inch of this terrace is secured with high railings, so even the most curious or agile breeds can roam without worry. I am always present during these sessions, which helps me monitor play styles and intervene if anyone needs a break. This isn't just about burning energy; it is about helping dogs learn to coexist. You will often see a Husky chilling next to a Pug or a Retriever making friends with an Indie. If your dog is nervous about being around others, I take it slow, keeping sessions one-on-one until they feel ready to join the pack.
